JECSE and ZIP wish to invite you for the second Safeguarding Webinar “ L’abus spirituel”. Scheduled for September 20th, 2022 online meeting is primarily dedicated to the pastoral coordinators, mission and identity formators, and school advisors, as well as school principals and teachers, both from primary and secondary schools.

Event description: During the webinar, Dr Peter Hundertmark will lead us in reflecting about such questions as: What are we talking about when we speak of spiritual abuse? How can it be distinguished from other forms of abuse of power? What is the connection to sexual abuse? Who is particularly at risk? How can we prevent it? What rules should be observed in conversations with those affected? What is important when dealing with possible perpetrators? What possibilities are there for intervention? What about the responsibility of dioceses and congregations, the dicasteries of the Vatican?

Dr. Peter Hundertmark studied philosophy and theology in Frankfurt Sankt Georgen and Paris; Lay minister for the diocese of Speyer in Germany; Spiritual director and director of spiritual exercises; involved in various work groups at the diocesan and national level against spiritual abuse since 2011.
Dr Peter Hundertmark a étudié la philosophie et la théologie à Francfort Sankt Georgen et à Paris; il est collaborateur de l’évêque de Speyer en Allemagne qui lui a confié la responsabilité pour la spiritualité dans le diocèse ; il donne de l’accompagnement spirituel et des exercices ignatiens ; impliqué dans divers commissions au niveau diocésain et national contre l’abus spirituel depuis 2011.
